Investor In People Award - 1st Re-Assessment Passed

Care2Care has passed it's first Investor In People Re-Assessment.

Care2Care gained it's Investor In People Award at it's first attempt in 2008. Success in this our first re-assessment confirms our continued commitment to, and compliance with, the Investor In People Standards.

Customer First Award - 2nd Re-Assessment Passed

Care2Care has passed it's second Customer First Re-Assessment.

Care2Care gained it's Customer First Award at it's first attempt in 2006, and was successful in it's first re-assessment in 2008. Success in this our second re-assessment confirms our continued commitment to, and compliance with, the Customer First Standards.

“...Since the initial assessment two years ago, the organisation has gone from strength to strength and now enjoys some much improved office accommodation following relocation in November 2009. This move was made in preparation for an anticipated growth in demand for the services offered. ...”

  • Central to the organisations success are the relationships it has created with customers and service users. The development of a customer charter, detailed service agreements and individuals plans, related to both learning and care, have all proven to be effective in managing customers expectations all round.
  • With good contacts and effective networking with other local organisations, Care2Care are ideally placed to provide customers with opportunities to gain access to wider support when required.
  • Critical to providing accurate and effective services is a thorough understanding of the customerís needs and expectations. The diagnostic processes used in the early stages are therefore very thorough, with good consistency being applied throughout. This whole process is one that is carefully governed by the regulatory authorities and is of the highest standard.

Funding News

Enhancement Funding For Employers

We are very pleased to confirm that we are still receiving the Enhancement Funds to help employer's access accredited training for their employees.

This funding is available for National Vocational Qualifications at Levels 2, 3 and 4, as well as individual accredited units.

Training News

We are delighted at having secured partnership work with Working Links in South Yorkshire. This will enable us to continue our health and social care training delivery and motivate individuals to join the care sector workforce.

We are currently offering the following training programmes for Working Links:

Working Links Care Sector Mandatory Training Programme

Care2Care Training has introduced a new 5-day Care Sector Mandatory Training programme developed by Care2Care for Working Links.

The programme has been designed for people considering employment within the health and social care sector, and has been designed and developed to meet the requirements of the General Social Care Council's Code of Practice and the Care Quality Commission's National Minimum Standards requirements for all new and potential care staff.

The programme will provide a structured start for new or potential care staff, and prepare them to give high quality care and support to people in need of health and social care services. It is also linked to National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Health and Social Care study programmes and will provide underpinning knowledge for anyone wishing to progress on to an NVQ course.

Working Links Health and Social Care Development Programme

Care2Care Training has introduced a new 10-day Health and Social Care Development programme developed by Care2Care for Working Links.

The programme has been designed for people considering employment within the health and social care sector, and has been designed and developed to reflect National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) requirements and the General Social Care Council's Code of Practice.

The programme will give participants an insight into health and social care and the roles and structures in the sector. It will equip them with the skills and knowledge to enter the care sector, and prepare them to give high quality care and support to people in need of health and social care services. It will also explain the career pathways and opportunities for continuous professional development available, and prepare participants for entry onto NVQ study programmes by providing the knowledge necessary to enter the NVQ programmes in Health and Social Care at Levels 2, 3 and 4, and in Customer Service at Levels 2, 3 and 4.

By the end of the programme participants will have underpinning knowledge of health and social care; the relevant laws and legislation; and all aspects of health and safety, equality and diversity.
